Room fives main topic for this term is Biodiversity, Biodiversity is the rich variety of life on earth and variety of living things that can be found on earth such as ( Fungi, Plants, Animals and micro-organisms ). we had to make a DLO about biodiversity and one of there creatures so I choose Earthworms

This week we were learning about symmetry and how some animals are symmetry and some are not, to tell if an animal is symmetry is pretty easy it's just simple they have identical faces on both sides of their face unless the got attached of something like that, you can tell if an animal is symmetry and you can test it aswale if your not sure. So earlier this week we had to draw an animal that we liked that was symmetry and then we had to draw it from scratch, most of the people from my class was drawing a scorpion or a grasshopper but i picked a ladybird Ms Lambie told us to try make it as colorful as you can and make it big so it fits on the page. last week we did a basketball tournament with people from my school, Mr Matai organized our school to go to the basketball tournament i gone in Mr Matai's car with Lennox and Celine, when we got there it looked so cool, we gone in the building and gone straight into the courts, the looked so cool first we started to train and then the bell rang and then we went over to the people who organized the whole tournament, they told us all the rules, then we were up in our first game we were all confident in the win but then as we played until the end of the game we ended up getting smoked. So we kept training our three pointers and free throw and others to beat the team we were going up against and then the game began and the we kept on scoring and we won! our first game we were so happy then but we kept preparing for our third game we gone through are third game and it was so close all the was but we had a tie!!! we though we had won but we tied but we got over it and then we kept training doing three pointers lay ups for our fourth game we were versing an all girl team but they weren't the best team so we won then we realized we were versing another all girls team and we looked at them train and some of our players were really nervous and that's what was the problem, so the bell rang and we played the game the were so much taller than us so they could just through the ball above our heads we kept losing so badly and we lost, but the one we lost to the all girls team we in the finals versing there same school all of the other schools were watching the finals including my school the game started and everyone wasn't talking they were just watching it was close the whole game but the boys came out on top.

We were using different sentence types such as 2A sentence 2A Sentence have two adjectives before a noun, DE:DE is description details, Noun W is where its an example of a sentence with an embedded schedule cause, Some others is where you tell a fact and you say " some others" and say what others do, P,P,S,A its position place subject and action And last one is Are all examples is where you give examples of something

The White Dragon
The White Icy Dragon is always hungry: he eats all kinds of food. They can fly fast and high, but they are incredible swimmers as well. Their flying speed can go up to 160 km/h which is the 3rd fastest dragon speed, following behind the Blue Dragon.
Appearance
The White Dragon has sparkling scales, a spiny flap of skin under its chin and wings that are frayed along the edges. Their skin is very detached because of the battles it has lost. They are the weakest of all the dragons. Humans can tell when they are close to some White Dragons because of their distinctive smell. Some have a horrible crisp chemical smell; others smell like rotten vegetables. White Dragons, which are fearsome are able to take on Red Dragons.
Habitat And Diet
High in the polar mountains the White Dragon waits for its prey. They have a varied diet - polar bears, reindeer, arctic fox, walrus, penguin, whales, seals and seabirds - are all examples of their frozen diet. The White Dragons love swimming. They are very talented swimmers, but they prefer cold water.
Amazing Facts
The White Dragon is hungry, however they have icy breath that can kill their opponent. in a fight, but they are still not strong fighters. The white dragon would prefer to swim in cold waters. They are mostly known for bullying mountain giants. The white dragon is almost extinct because humans try to hunt the White Dragon..
Dragonoligst believe that the White Dragons are responsible for ice storms.
